To be considered for the Peace bear Joke writing Contest Every contestant must read this and Post a Promise to not make rude comments to any person in the competition either in the chat box, pm, or any other place in the forum!

Comptetitions can sometimes get very heated when so many people want the same prize.

It has come to my attention that people are taking this too personally and have made rude comments in the chat box about other contestants

It is very un-sportsman like and I will not tollerate people being disrespectful in any way to their fellow forum members

Every contestant also needs to understand that as many resources that are available to find jokes: newspapers, internet, books, magazines that it is highly possible that a few of the same jokes may be posted by several different contestants. With hundreds of jokes being posted that is a high possibility of happenning.

If it was 30 jokes copied in a row then I could see that as a pattern of copying
Just do your best. I can not expect every contestant to take the time to go read the hundreds of jokes to make sure none are copied that would take up too much time.
